Waltz for Eva and Che (Evita) - Raul Esparza and Natalie Toro
You guys. Raul Esparza and Natalie Toro perform “Waltz for Eva and Che” during a stop on the Evita National Tour that ran back in 1999. I’ve been dying to hear Raul as Che, and my god, he’s JUST as incredible as I expected. If you love Raul, you’ll love this. If you aren’t a fan, he won’t win you over with it. But it is astounding. I can only imagine how intense his Che was. What a pity that this wasn’t preserved with a Cast Recording. I wonder if they taped it for the Lincoln Center archives…
